As someone backpacking, I loved the welcoming atmosphere at Il Magan. the owner and her son were friendly and helpful, with the son even able to speak English. the clean and comfortable rooms had all the necessary amenities, including a small fridge. the highlight was the superb view of Corniglia and the ocean from the balcony. the location was perfect, away from the tourist crowds but still easily accessible to bars, restaurants, and the bus transfer to the train station.
